History of Aragon

The name of Aragon, originally belonging to a small area around Jaca Pyrenean, will own a kingdom that stretches along the eastern Iberian Peninsula: the Kingdom of Aragon, who once joined him Catalonia, forming the Crown of Aragon, became known throughout the Mediterranean area.

The fourteenth century was the period of greatest artistic strength of the history of Aragon, lived as the new Renaissance spirit, imported from Italy, and demonstrations Gothic and Mudejar.
