Comarca del Bajo Aragon in Aragon
Belongs to the county (comarca) of Bajo Aragon

Celebrations:

The patron saint festivities are dedicated to the town's patron saint, Our Lady of Good Success, and run from September 6 to September 11 as follows:
Day 6 is interpeñas day
The 7th is the eve of holidays
The 8th and 9th are the official days of the city council
The 10th is the feast of the fifth of that year
and the 11th is wedding day.

Other local festivals that are celebrated throughout the year are:
- On January 17, the festival of San Antón, in which the fifth of the previous year make a large bonfire (up to 5 meters high in some cases) in the Plaza Pardo Sastrón.
- Lardero Thursday is a local holiday and the townspeople usually get together with their friends to go to the countryside to eat chorizo, hence its name: "the day of choricé".
- During Holy Week, the tumbada is typical. During those days, the people of the town who belong to the Brotherhood of San Martín and Santa María Magdalena dress up and walk through the streets of the town playing the drums.
- The celebration of the festival of San Isidro Labrador is also typical, due to the high percentage of farmers in the town.
- At the beginning of June, a pilgrimage is held to the hermitage of Santa Bárbara, located on a hill, which could be described as a viewpoint of Bajo Aragón because it is, perhaps, the highest point in the region, and from which you can see a large part of its territory. That day people go to said hermitage and spend the whole day among friends.
