This historic district is home of the Kingdom of Aragon which now covers the major western valleys of the Aragonese Pyrenees: Anso, Echo and Aragon, and the smallest: Chase, Aragües and Borau. The Berdún Channel sets the southern boundary of the region. Has traditionally been considered part of the bal Chazetania Tena and the vast territories comprising Samianigo. Due to a growing nucleus of Samianigo, has created a new independent region Chazetania.
The population is concentrated in the town of Chaco, which is the capital and head of district, which exceeds 14,000. Apart from the capital, there is no urban core in excess of 1,000 inhabitants. Echo and Anso Canfranc are the following towns that barely reach 500.
Monrepos opening has been a great improvement in communications with Uesca Chaca and Zaragoza. Also, the tunnel will make it Somport Chaca is a privileged center of communications and to compensate the whole valley of Aragon, closure of international rail Canfranc and the disappearance of the office.
There are three associations in Chazetania: Commonwealth of Aragon High Valley which includes the municipalities of Aisa, Borau, Canfranc, Castiello de Chaca Chaca and Bellanuga. The headquarters is in Canfran Vergara and manages a range of services. The joint board comprises the valleys of Anso municipalities, Aragües d'or Port, Chase and the Val d'Echo. The commonality of Berdun Channel consists of the municipalities of Santa Zilia of Chaca Chaca Puente la Reina, I dance and Berdun Channel. The headquarters is located in the Queen of Chaca Puen and among its goals is economic development in the area.
