A la 1 de la tarde se reunirán en la plaza de la Catedral las bandas de tambores y cornetas de todas las cofradías, para trasladarse hasta la plaza de Santo Domingo, donde esperarán la llegada de los soldados romanos.
A las 2 de la tarde, DESFILE DE ROMANOS, con sus correspondientes tambores y clarines. A su llegada a la plaza de Santo Domingo, se iniciará la adoración y guardia ante el Cristo Yacente. Seguidamente dará comienzo la adoración de los fieles.
Plaza de la Catedral, Calle Santiago, Plaza Lizana, Coso Alto, Coso Bajo y Plaza Santo Domingo.
A las 6 de la tarde, desfile de las bandas de las cofradías desde sus respectivas sedes hasta la plaza de Santo Domingo.
Cristo Yacente Imagen de madera policromada modelada por José Capuz y llevada a la talla definitiva por su discípulo Eduardo del Pino. Adquirida por la Archicofradía de la Vera Cruz en 1960. Se venera durante todo el año en la iglesia de Santo Domingo y San Martín. La cabeza de esta imagen recuerda al Cristo de la Buena Muerte, de Juan de Mesa, de la Universidad de Sevilla. El rostro no está descompuesto, los rizos del cabello caídos levemente, laarba recortada, la boca semiabierta, los párpados apenas cerrados, los pómulos resaltados y la tez con un tono mate que armoniza toda la composición. Una de las partes maestras de la escultura es el tórax, de blando modelado, guardando un palpitante equilibrio en todas sus partes anatómicas. Es portado por miembros de la Archicofradía de la Santísima Vera Cruz.

Acompañando al Cristo Yacente, alumbrándolo con grandes hachones de cera. Representan a las gentes que acompañaron a Jesús en vida, cuando lo bajaron de la Cruz y cuando lo condujeron al sepulcro. Se incorporan a la Procesión en el año 1865 y visten túnica blanca con franjas, fajín y gorro azules.
