The Museum is divided into several museographic sections.
ARCHEOLOGY | |
---|---|
It is located in the plaza building of Los Sitios number 6 and the funds exhibited by the museum in its rooms on the ground floor help us to understand what has been the cultural evolution of the people who in remote times lived in this territory that we now call Aragon. Pieces corresponding to different cultures are exhibited from the Paleolithic to the Arab world. There are educational visits with worksheets for the following sections:

FINE ARTS | |
This section is located on the upper floors. A visit to the Fine Arts section can satisfy us aesthetically contemplating some works of great beauty and quality.
Collect collections of painting, sculpture and numismatics, all from the fourteenth to the twentieth centuries. | |
ETHNOLOGY | |
The ethnology section is located in the Primo de Rivera Park in the "Casa Pirenaica", building whose structure is a sample of the traditional architecture of the Aragonese Pyrenees, collecting varied elements of its valleys.
It shows popular costumes and various utensils related to the domestic life of Aragon 100 years ago. | |
CERAMICS | |
The Ceramic Section has restructured the internal space of the "Casa de Albarracin", located in the Primo de Rivera Park, in order to have three large rooms where the ceramic backgrounds of the Museum of Zaragoza can be exhibited. The funds of this new section show the stylistic and functional evolution of ceramics, as well as a varied repertoire of popular Aragonese potteries. | |
The CELSA COLONY | |
It is located in the Zaragoza municipality of Velilla de Ebro, 55 km from the capital on the Castellón road. | |
