While downhill skiing is an exciting sport, it leaves little room for adventure.

Outside the marked pistes, snow machining and prepared specifically for the practice of descent of modern alpine ski resorts ,
which have all the hotel and catering services, it is possible to practice the virgin slopes descent whose peaks are reached by own means or through the helicopter (heli-skiing), as in Cerler and Panticosa. Obviously, this practice requires a mastery of skiing and a broad knowledge of climate and the factors that favor the triggering of avalanches, and a significant caution.
Equally fun is the snowboard, snowboard or something like surfing, but waves by changing the virgin snow.
It is the culmination of all the possibilities of skiing: downhill and climb on skis, rides flat and the cross-country skiing ...
It requires, therefore, a good preparation both as a skier, climber, and in return offers closer to places inaccessible in winter and privileged views of unique parts.

In winter, when snow-filled roads to walk normally prevent them, you can access to unknown places winter using snowshoes or skis for a walk (also called telemark skiing) and discover the beauty of nature asleep under the snow.
