Monumentos histricos Daroca


Las murallas que la rodean, conservadas en su totalidad, fueron contruidas entre los siglos XIII y XVI. Destacan en ellas dos puertas defensivas: la puerta Baja, remodelada en el siglo XVI, con dos torreones cuadrangulares, y la puerta Alta, transformada en el siglo XVII, que se sitan en las dos entradas principales a la ciudad, adems de contar con otras, como la de Valencia o la mudjar de San Martn de la Parra.

Daroca

En Daroca haba tres castillos: el Mayor, el de la Judera y el de San Cristbal (o Torre del Andador).

Las extensas ruinas del castillo Mayor casi se confunden con el erosionado cerro que domina la Colegiata.
De planta oval, de unos 80 x 30 metros, su elemento ms destacado es una torre rectangular de argamasa y manpostera y un arco apuntado.

Del Castillo de San Cristbal, de los siglos XIII-XIV queda la llamada Torre del Andador.

El castillo de la Judera est tambin en ruinas.

Entre los edificios civiles destaca la casa de los Luna del siglo XV, todo el barrio de la judera (M.N.), con un conjunto de edificios de los siglos XVI y XVII (renacentistas y barrocos), as como las murallas declaradas Conjunto Histrico.

Entre los monumentos religiosos destacan: la Colegiata de Santa Mara (Monumento Nacional), la Iglesia de San Miguel (M.N.), La de San Juan Bautista y Santo Domingo de Silos (M.N.).
