Celebrations

The small parties are in honor of San Felipe Neri on May 26.
Bonfires are also made for San Favian, San Blas and San Sebastian.
Santa Águeda is celebrated and for Easter the May is placed in the square, which is thrown at the start of the Santa Ana festivities, the Fiestas mayores on July 26.

Place of 143 inhabitants; at 420 m of altitude Own town hall established in the Hoya de Huesca region.

History

The first mention dates from 1104, in concord made by the bishop of Huesca and the abbot of Montearagon; census 1 fire in 1495.
St of linear configuration settled in short highlight on the banks of the Guatizalema River.

Architecture according to guidelines of the area, rising with the materials of the less rainy lands from the south. The sector next to the church conserves the traditional features better; on the other hand the low sector, more reformed, has some whitewashed buildings and ships of recent erection.

The parochial one of Santa Ana is of popular line, with slender tower of two bodies in the feet. In its term they are vestiges of the depopulated ones of Armalé and Burjamán.

On Salillas is the palace of the Marques de Montemuzo, with a Renaissance façade with a split pediment showing the coat of arms of the pomar.
 The palace sits on the old castle because it was a walled town, still has one of its towers, an inscription on a wall puts 1E64.
The hayloft of the palace is a huge construction of two floors and its base is perfectly square, we also found an ice well, although it is known as snow well, recently restored, its vault is very original.

The flour mill is located in the ramblas and dates from the ninth century. It has all its machinery.

Within its term three Roman roads passed, but the only vestige located is under the town.

The hermitage is dedicated to San Felipe Neri.

Through the town the old crosses of the via crucis are still preserved.

The hermitage of San Miguel with the frairia were destroyed due to the confiscation.

The source was destroyed with the construction of the canal.

This year (2006) the rural house "Casa Mairal" was inaugurated
